A Touch of Gold Massage & Wellness, LLC is a sanctuary designed for women to relax and reset. Our mission is to promote wellness while educating women about its transformative benefits and dispelling common misconceptions.
Professionalism and cleanliness are of the highest priority. We are committed to ensuring that each woman leaves every session feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and restored in both body and mind.
Hello! I'm Brittany, the proud owner and sole massage therapist behind A Touch of Gold Massage & Wellness, LLC.
I graduated from the Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage and became a licensed massage therapist in May 2023. In addition to my massage practice, I have been a full-time Registered Nurse since December 2024. While balancing both careers keeps me busy, my clients are always my top priority.
The short answer is...because it's fun! The fascination with massage is what drew me in; Being able to physically feel muscles release and relax is what got me hooked! It's such an amazing thing to witness! What sets me apart from the competition is my commitment to making each session unique based on the individual needs of the client.
Swedish Massage features long gliding strokes as well as other therapeutic movements to promote relaxation, stimulate circulation, and relieve tension in tight, sore muscles.
Custom massage incorporates Swedish massage techniques with a special emphasis on “focus areas” (regions experiencing pain, tension, stiffness, or soreness). These focus areas typically require firmer pressure and additional time to effectively target the muscles and connective tissues that swedish massage alone may not reach.
This soothing treatment begins with stimulating dry brushing to polish the skin, followed by a tension-melting swedish massage. Finally, relax into hot towel therapy and a nourishing olive oil satin spray for a silky finish. A client favorite!

No, I do not. I operate in a home-based studio located on the second level, reachable via one flight of stairs.
You may undress to your comfort level. You will be securely draped with a sheet to maintain your privacy.
Feel free to chat with me as much as you'd like! I will always allow my clients to lead the session.
I can, but I prefer not to. I created a massage playlists consisting of many different genres to satisfy all the different tastes of my clients. Feel free to browse through the playlists:
I do not specifically offer deep tissue massage! I find that most clients asking for deep tissue massages equate pain with healing - this method is not supported or promoted in my practice. Pain relief and muscle tension release can absolutely be achieved without causing pain to the client. I offer a firm pressure that reaches the deeper muscular structures and may cause discomfort. At most, you should feel discomfort, not pain.
Showering right before a massage is usually unnecessary unless you are visibly dirty or have been sweating.
Do not drink alcohol or use recreational drugs before your massage. Alcohol is a diuretic that drains water from your body. Massage increases circulation and also flushes fluids, this increases the risk of dehydration and this can cause your body to process alcohol much faster, making you feel more intoxicated or dizzy.
Drink plenty of water after your massage. Water helps flush toxins and prevents muscle soreness.
